The Mission goals of the Great Village Community Association are:

1. To develop a more close-knit sense of community among residents.
2. To provide programming and services to the local community to ensure its viability as a rural centre for culture, health, and economic stability.
3. To buy, own, lease mortgage, sell and convey such real and personal property as may be necessary or desirable in the carrying out of the objects of the Society.
4. To acquire by way of grant give, purchase, bequest, devise, or otherwise, real and personal property and to use and apply such property to the realization of the objects of the Society.
